Carolyne Mande Lunga
Carolyne Mande Lunga is a Ph.D. journalism candidate at City, University of London (United Kingdom) with nine years of experience as a journalism lecturer and has previously worked as a journalist. She is currently serving as a graduate teaching assistant for the MA International Journalism programme and teaches international news, global journalism and media ethics courses. She is also a student communications assistant at City. She holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in journalism and media studies and Master of Education (M.Ed.) both acquired from Rhodes University in South Africa; an Introductory Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education from City, University of London, and an Associate Fellowship for Higher Education (AFHEA). For her Ph.D., she is researching how collaborative investigative journalism is being done in southern Africa. Her research interests are in the areas of investigative journalism, digital journalism, media ethics and normative theories of the media, disinformation and misinformation.
